 Chelsea boss Mauricio pochettino has named four players he thinks deserve to be rested after the Blues' defeat to Newcastle United.  Chelsea were back in premier league action away from Stamford Bridge on Saturday and were unexpectedly tied down to a 4-1 defeat.   Newcastle united's Alexander Isak opened the scoring before Sterling's equalizer with a key freekick. The blues failed to capitalise on the free-kick and were tied to a defeat.   Four players were notable for their sloppy performance in the match and Mauricio pochettino has named these four players as potential players who will come from the bench in their next game. The players include Thiago Silva, Nicolas Jackson , Benoit Badiashile & Robert Sanchez.  Per GOAL, they were the poorest performers on the pitch.  Chelsea began fixtures in the UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage with a Sam Kerr hat-trick in a 4-1 defeat of Paris FC at Stamford Bridge Lauren James set up Kerr for the opener but the scores were level at the break, after Thea Greboval’s header. Johanna Rytting Kaneryd crossed for Kerr to restore the lead three minutes after the restart and completed her treble with a chip from outside the box in The 55th minute. The Chelsea star has warned he could leave the club Early next year should he be starved of play time.  Chelsea goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli has revealed he could leave the club should he be starved of play time. SInce signing in July 2021,he has made only one start for the Blues.  He is currently in the club's book of Injured players but looks like he is not part of the club's plans as the Blues recently got two additions in the goal keeping position. They are Robert Sanchez and Petrović.  It remains to be seen if Bettinelli will be given playing time. He was signed on free transfer from fullham. His first start which is his only start came in the FA Cup. Should he decide to move away from Chelsea it will be good for his career as he certainly looks like he's not part of the plans of Mauricio pochettino.   What ever happens, we wish him the best for the future. 

 One player who was very much impressive against City was Raheem Sterling. He scored the second to put the Blues back on track against City.  However, what was notable today from his game tonight was his speed, runs and dribbles that brought back old memories of Eden Hazard at Chelsea.  His pace left Kyle Walker struggling to keep up most times  WATCH: Incredible footage of Raheem Sterling's pace that left Chelsea fans surprised:
